Lucas's First Day In a Pool

This was Lucas's first day in the pool preparing him for our boating trip. He did pretty good only whined a little bit. He and Uncle Tom are getting to be good friends-- he loves anyone who will nap with him. He is getting so big so fast!

Lucas's First Country Band

May 26th 2012 we went with Kirk's Kirk's family to eat BBQ and listen to Lucas's first country concert! He had fun and played with Nanna while we listened to Waymores Outlaws! It was great, we all had a blast!

Moving to Tennessee

May 21st Kirk left Salt lake City with Poppy driving all of our belongings to Tullahoma TN. Lucas and I followed on May 24th (on a plane- thank heavens). Lucas was a champ he slept most of the way and when he was awake he was quite the gentlemen. We are excited to start this new adventure and finally be living above ground again. Here's our new home. Its beautiful and we love it..... everything except the ants and mowing the HUGE lawn. I guess we'll just have to get rid of the little buggers and learn to like mowing!

Lucas's Two Month Check Up!

Lucas had his two week check up on may 15th 2012. He was a total champ! He weighed 13.5lbs and was 25 inches. Poor guy had to have 3 shots but he only cried a little bit.. At first anyway. After a nap he woke up screaming so he and mommy took a warm bath, he got some Tylenol, ant lots of TLC. We love our little guy- he's growing up so fast!

Our Sweet Boy

Mr Lucas is only 6 weeks old and he already has us wrapped around his little finger. All he has to do is jut out his cute little lips and he gets what ever he wants. Watch Lucas and his famous pouty lip in action! So dang cute!

FYI Kirk was only blowing on Lucas's neck-- nothing that was hurting him at all

After 37 weeks of carrying Lucas part of which was spent with pre-eclampsia and four weeks on strict bed rest I was induced on march 12th and Intermountain Medical Center in SLC. My water broke on the 13th after having contractions all day long. After that I dilated to a seven pretty quickly and by 6:30 wednesday the 14th I was ready to push. It took three and a half hours of hard pushing and sweet baby Lucas was born, all 9 lbs and 21 inches of him. He had to spend some time  under the bili lamps but we had him home after a couple of days. We love our little boy so much! What a blessing he is in our lives!
